Some say revenge is the best success and it’s true. But what’s better is getting a revenge bod after your lover dumps you. And that’s what 21-year-old, Wei Xiaoting, did. Not only will this new body make him jealous, but with her new ripped body, she looks like she can beat the crap out of her ex-boyfriend.
Two years ago, her Laotian boyfriend dumped after he called her fat for weighing 165 pounds. “He was my first-ever boyfriend and we had dated for two years. One day in 2016, he went back to his home country unexpectedly and never returned,” Xiaoting told the Daily Mail. Wei Xiaoting was a college student in China studying management. Her boyfriend, who was 7 years older than her, repeatedly verbally abused her.
“He played rugby and went to the gym often. I would sometimes go with him, but he would say to me in my face: ‘Look at your figure, you would never win any fitness competition’,” Xiaoting said.
But her boyfriend wasn’t the only one that put her down. Her classmates constantly ridiculed her about her weight. “A lot of people said I was very fat. I got the cold shoulder from my classmates and they didn’t want to hang out with me,” she said.
“Because of the ill-treatment I got from other people, and because of the hurt I got when my ex-boyfriend left me, I decided to hit the gym and become a better self,” she said.
And boy did she hit the gym and take back her health. Watching online videos and asking for advice from her fitness friends, she became a gym rat. Additionally, she implemented a strict diet and exercise regiment, to build her body up. It was hard to go from fat to buff, but she had one thought in mind when she felt like giving up. “I want myself to be better and more successful,” she said. Plus the motivation of being ridiculed for being fat fueled her.
Soon Wei Xiaoting was competing in local bikini contests but her first big win came in 2016. She got fifth place at the National Fitness Bodybuilding Championship in Shenzhen. This helped motivate her more and the next year she came in first in the same annual competition.
As for now, she’s dedicated her life to working out. She runs her own gym and is currently saving up to by a flat in Shenzhen. With any additional money she makes, she sends it back to her family in Guangxi. And best of all, she has a new boyfriend, which she loves very much, who is also a fitness addict. “He is also a fitness competitor and is preparing for his first competition,” she said.
In the future, Wei Xiaoting hopes to compete internationally and bring home the gold. But most importantly, she happy and healthy.
