Suspect arrested for allegedly robbing two Chinese food delivery workers in Long Island

A Long Island, New York man has been arrested for allegedly robbing three people on three different occasions. According to the Daily Voice, 26-year-old Joseph Austin of Baldwin was charged with two counts of third-degree robbery, one count of petit larceny, and one count of resisting arrest.

All three robberies occurred in Rockville Center. The first incident occurred on Tuesday, January 19th, when Austin allegedly robbed a 45-year-old Domino’s Pizza delivery driver. He allegedly punched the male driver and took the money and food.

The second incident occurred the next day on January 20th, when Austin allegedly pushed a 36-year-old Chinese food delivery driver before taking off with the food and money.

The third instance occurred the next day when Austin allegedly took money from a 27-year-old Chinese food delivery driver’s car.

The police caught up with Joseph Austin on January 23 and authorities said he physically resisted before he was arrested.
