Realtor Michael Dalcin fired after racist viral video

According to the Heavy, California realtor Michael Dalcin lost his job after he was caught on video verbally attacking an Asian woman. Twitter user “Em” said she was in Brentwood, California, on February 10th when the man came out of his home and approached her. In the video, he can be seen harassing her and calling her “stupid blue hair Asian girl” and “dumb b**ch.”

After the video went viral his employer “Beach City Brokers” wrote on Facebook that Michael Dalcin was let go.

“We have become aware of a video circulating on social media that involves a new agent we recently hired … Effective immediately, Mike Dalcin has been removed as an agent from our office and is no longer and agent at our Company,” the company said. “Beach City Brokers insist and will always maintain a high standard of integrity and ethics and will not tolerate racism or any other unprofessional behavior.”

Dalcin went to the University of California where he studied Criminology. He received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and social behavior.

Dalcin has quite the run-in with the law from 2002 to 2008. According to the Heavy, he was charged with receiving stolen property, grand theft, felony criminal threats, and “assault with a semiautomatic firearm, drawing or exhibiting firearms, false imprisonment effect by violence, menace, fraud or deceit and possession of a firearm by a felon” in that time frame.

He was found not guilty by a jury on the felony criminal threats but pleaded “nolo contendere” to the rest of the charges. Those charges were dismissed after he completed the terms of his sentences.
