A Houston, Texas beauty supply owner was attacked inside her store by a pair of women on March 17th, reports Click2houston. Jung Kim who owns the beauty supply store in north Harris County said the women who attacked her also hurled racial insults at her. Her assailants broke her nose and bruised up her face. She will need surgery later to fix her nose.
The incident started after Kim told Daquiesha Williams, Keaundra Young, and three other women to leave her store after they knocked over multiple wig displays.
“They started saying something like some racial words like, ‘Asian people shouldn’t be in the Black market,'” the owner’s son Sung Jun Lee said. “We’re stealing their money.”
The women left but returned to the store and starting knocking over the wig displays again. Then things turned violent when Young began punching Kim knocking her down to the ground. The suspect continued to punch Kim as she covered up on the ground.
During this time, one of the women yelled “You little Asian girl” according to the owner.
Her son intervened and got his face scratched up.
But things got worse outside. Sung said the couple nearly ran him and his father over with their car in the parking lot.
Daquiesha Williams has been charged with assault. While Keaundra Young has been charged with aggravated assault.
