A Filipino food truck that got vandalized with hate graffiti got the assist from Filipino-American NBA player Jordan Clarkson. The “World Famous Yum Yum” food truck operating out of Utah was spray-painted with white paint with the words “ch**k” all over the side of the truck this weekend, reports KSL Sports.
The family-owned business took to social media to ask for help and Utah Jazz player Clarkson came through with the help of Identity Graphx, a business out of Utah that specializes in car wraps.
Clarkson, who is the only person of Filipino ethnicity and the winner of the sixth man award last year, and Identity Graphx hooked the truck up with a new look.
“My family can’t thank you guys enough,” the business said. “Special thanks to Utah Jazz’s Jordan Clarkson and Dan from Identity graphics for the new look.”
Police are still trying to identify the suspects.
