The Asian man caught on camera punching a black man on a bicycle spewing racist anti-Asian slurs gave his side of the story to Instagram page Jackfroot. The incident occurred on July 25th, 2021 on Bowery and Doyer Streets in New York’s Chinatown area. Check out the video of the incident below.
The 18-year-old man who punched the man told Jackfroot that he was walking when he saw the man on the bicycle. He said he didn’t find the man to be a problem until the man got into some kind of road rage incident with another Asian man in a car.
“Then he started throwing out racial slurs like ‘go back to China you f**king ch**ks’ and I’m like no f**king way,” the Asian man recalled. “This guy got out the car and recording him not doing nothing.”
The Asian man noticed everyone else not doing anything as the man continued to spew racial slurs.
“People are not going to learn until they like have some consequences,” he said.
So the Asian guy walked up to him and punched him in the head.

The man on the bicycle rode off after the incident and the Asian man took off too because he didn’t want any problems with the police.
However, during the incident, his headphones got busted up so a Gofundme has been set up to help the guy out.
