Police are looking for a man who allegedly assaulted a 48-year-old Asian man in Manhattan, New York on May 22nd, reports CBS New York News. The incident took place near Broadway and 26th Street when the suspect allegedly approached the victim without provocation and punched the victim in the head. The assailant allegedly made anti-Asian statements before fleeing.
The victim refused medical attention at the scene. The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the matter.
