53-year-old Asian man stabbed and robbed in San Francisco

A 53-year-old man was stabbed and robbed in San Francisco, California while out on a walk in the evening. According to ABC 7 News, the incident occurred in the Bayview neighborhood on Saturday around 10:30 pm. The victim told police he was on Exeter Street when a suspect came up from behind him and demanded money. The suspect then pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times.

The suspect grabbed the victim’s backpack then hopped into a car and fled. When police arrived at the scene, they found the victim “suffering from multiple stab wounds.”

At this time, police said there is no evidence the assault was racially motivated.
